One of the ways we can continue our support of this community, whilst ensuring flexibility in our costs, is through our involvement in a variety of affiliate programs.

This allows us to gain a smidgen of income here and there from the recommendations and resource links that we create on our website.

It might be for a piece of software (eg. Shopify), it might be a book (eg. Booktopia) or a podcast (eg. Apple) that we recommend to either our mentees and/or our online audience.  Those links when you click on them, if you then make a purchase, can mean that we receive a small payment from those businesses as a result. It’s their way of thanking us for the link.

Therefore, we have created an affiliate policy document in order for our clients and online readers to understand why we do things the way we do, because DBP have a strong belief in the value of transparency in business.

Wherever an affiliate link is used on our website, we will disclose this to visitors and there is no obligation whatsoever to make a purchase.
