Together, Angela and Renée have creatively managed and curated four major exhibitions from start to finish; Once Upon (Sydney), Disband (Sydney and Melbourne) and Drawn From Fashion.

Once Upon

Supported by Frankie Magazine and held at aMBUSH Gallery, Once Upon showcased all new original illustrations by 38 Australian independent artists.

Despite a serious Sydney heat wave, opening night attracted a crowd of over 300 and a large percentage of artworks sold within hours of doors opening.

Disband Sydney and Melbourne

Marking the 40th anniversary since the break-up of The Beatles, a group of young Australian artists were asked to create original works inspired by the concept of break-ups. Both galleries were also styled to look and feel like the dwelling of a couple undergoing a break-up. Held in Sydney at aMBUSH (May 2010) and in Melbourne at No Vacancy (Aug 2010).

We worked on curation, creative and event management, prop sourcing for the installation, set up the installation, hung the artwork and shared a drink with the guests on opening nights!

Jessica Hyde assisted us with the installation in Melbourne.
