If you are enrolling in a course, buying a ticket for an event or applying for a mentorship, we may collect the following types of information using our Website forms:

In other cases, you may provide to us your email address if you wish to be subscribed to our electronic newsletter.

When you visit our website, as a registered user or as a visitor just browsing, our website servers automatically record information about how you use our website, including your Internet Protocol address, what website you were visiting before you accessed our website, which browser you use and when you visited our website.
We may also collect information about what kind of device you are using to view our website (such as a PC, mobile phone or tablet), which operating system is in use, (such as iOS, Windows or Android) and your device settings to assist in the functionality of our website. Whether we collect some or all of this information often depends on the type of device you use and its settings.

We will never collect sensitive personal information such as your race, ethnicity, religion, political affiliations, sexual preferences, criminal records or your medical history.
Use of your personal information:
If you are enrolling in a course at DBP, the information that you provide to us may be used to:
1. Create a course list of students for ourselves or our guest speakers;
2. Contact you with information about the course, send you invoices and booking details.
If you have provided us your email address it may be used to contact you. Your email address will not be made available to the public at any time.
We will not send you marketing materials unless you have specifically authorised us to do so by joining or opting into our mailing lists.
You may choose to sign up to receive newsletters from us.
We have a newsletter that we send to people who wish to receive information and updates about our mentorships, services, courses, events and other news.
Mentees and event attendees are automatically added to our mailing list, however you are able to unsubscribe immediately should you not with to receive further emails from DBP.
At any time, you may remove your email address from our list by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in all newsletters that we send to you.
Course attendance and your image:
As our online courses are run live using Google Hangout Meet, Students will be visible using their web cameras to both our instructors and other attendees. As all sessions are recorded, by participating in one of our online courses as a Student or guest speaker, you provide us with your permission to capture your image for the purposes of the course. Please note, that course videos are only shared with DBP staff and other attendees of your specific course to maintain your privacy as much as possible.
Event attendance and your image:
During our in-person events (seminars, workshops and so on) your picture may be taken. Attendance at our events provides DBP with permission to capture your image and use those images in future promotions. Please note should you have any objections to DBP using your image please notify us and we will remove or blur your image should you require us to do so.
During the course of your time as a mentee with DBP, your sessions will be recorded (audio only) using a voice application on our phones. This is the case whether the session is in person or via web conference. The audio files are saved and uploaded to the shared folder that you will be provided a link for, unedited. At no time are those audio files shared with anyone other than Angela, Renée and the mentee. Mentees are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of those recordings.
Additionally, any and all written communications between DBP and our clients are to be kept strictly confidential and are not to be shared with anyone else outside the relationship. Any indication to DBP that the confidentiality of our communications has been breached may result in a termination of our mentoring and special services to that client.
Your Intellectual Property and Copyright:
As a Student or Mentee of DBP, you will be involved in idea sharing and discussions. You are under no obligation to share or provide us with your ideas should you not wish to do so. DBP are not responsible in any way for any future Intellectual Property or Copyright infringements that may occur within your business dealings as a result of attending or sharing information during our courses.
Use of technical information:
We may use the technical information collected by our website to determine how many people view our Website and how the user arrived at our Website.
Disclosure of your personal information to third parties:
We will NEVER disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent. We will NEVER sell your information to other parties.
Disposal of your personal information:
We may retain general information such as your name, email address, postal address for recurring invoices or sending newsletters if you have opted in to receive them.

We may provide links to third party websites. We do not have any control over these websites and they may place their own cookies and other files on your computer, and ask you for additional information. We are not responsible for third party websites and encourage you to read the privacy policies of those websites.
